| Advisory: If you are currently using or have recently finished taking any of the following medications: acutane, retina, or antibiotics, please inform your technician. These products can make the skin more sensitive. Taking these medications will compromise the integrity of the skin. Thin sensitive skin is more vulnerable to lifting and sensitivity during waxing. You need to be off acutane for a complete year before waxing is advised. You need to stop applying retina to the area that you want to wax a minimum one month before your service. With antibiotics you need to have finished your prescription three weeks prior to waxing. Most doctors advise waiting a minimum of 3 weeks after the last pill you take. If unsure we advise consulting with your doctor prior to any waxing service. | ||
